Ephedra or Ephedrine, is there a difference?

Well, it’s pretty much the same thing. Ephedra is described as a “shrub-like plant” from which Ephedrine is produced, Ephedrine is then used as a base for hundreds of fat burning products out there like fat burning pills and slimming pills.

Ephedrine has been used in both dietary supplements, for people trying to lose weight and also by athletes trying to enhance their athletic performance. Some companies have branded Ephedrine one of the strongest thermogenic fat burner and appetite suppressants available on the market!

Even though many people have used Ephedra/Ephedrine based slimming pills/dieting, from our research it would appear there are many side effects related to this drug such as Mood swings, nausea, Insomnia and hair loss to mention a few.

The wide use of this drug would imply that is does in fact help dieter to lose weight and burn fat. However, before you start taking any drugs to help with weight loss make sure you consult with your Doctor or medical practitioner. Just because Ephedrine based slimming pills work for some dieters doesn’t meant they’ll work for everyone so check with your Doctor and make sure Ephedrine is right for you before you start taking any Ephedrine based product.
